I work full time as an urban garden educator for children and teens. In this position I have had the opportunity and work with reptiles, amphibians, birds, and small mammals. I am available for pet care on the weekends and most evenings (after 5pm) during the week.

I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and working dogs (livestock herders) for over 10 years. I have experience working with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments and administering medication to dogs and small livestock.

So, so grateful to Melissa for staying in my place and watching my Ozzy while I was away for a weeklong trip. Melissa is a great communicator, very easy going and flexible. I knew Ozzy was in great hands, which made being away from him easier. She sent videos of my guy snuggling her and happy which I loved. When my flight home was unexpectedly canceled, I was totally panicked about who would be able to care for Ozzy, and she was so, so kind and comforting, able to shift her plans and watch him an additional night. She left my apartment in perfect condition with a happy dog waiting for me when I got home. Would love to book again in the future!
Melissa is a wonderful dog and house sitter. We feel so comfortable leaving our dog in her care!
