Hello! I am the owner and managing member of Canine Cabana LLC. We are a premier dog daycare and boarding residence located in Seaside and offer a unique open-space environment that fosters natural interaction and free play amongst packs. All dogs are family here and treated as our own. Licensed and privately insured. I do this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and love it. :) I require all visitors to be current in vaccinations, well-socialized with other dogs, and friendly with children. I have 8 years of management and dog handling experience in a professional environment at a very busy and popular dog daycare and boarding facility. I have vast experience in all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, as well as being highly skilled and experienced in spotting inappropriate social skills amongst packs and gently/safely redirecting into appropriate interactions; a decade of professional experience in managing anxiety/medical issues/geriatric needs. Knowledgeable in common canine illness, spotting symptoms, and first aid for minor injuries. I have an Associates in Pre-nursing, Social science, and Natural science. I have a highly nurturing, observant, and attentive personality. GREAT at multitasking! Lots of outdoor space and human interaction here:) I have a large van and provide pick-up/drop-off when requested.

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom for 2 toddlers and home most of the time. I am very flexible and we are never away from our home for more than 2 hours (running errands, park, shopping, etc). I work full time through Rover and a private dog care business. I always have MULTIPLE dogs at my home! My place is best for dogs who are comfortable with other dogs and can be trusted around other dogs in free play. While here, your dog will be part of the family and treated like one of our own beloved pets with lots of freedom, space, and interaction. Years of professional experience in diet/medication/exercise intake and efficiently following routine per owner's request with a high volume of pups.

I have a very large property, about an acre, completely fenced and secure. We start our day bright and early as soon as the sun comes out. I let all my pups out first thing to potty, stretch, and play. I do breakfast between 7-8 am and feed all dogs separately. After breakfast, we typically go on an "adventure" (as my toddlers call it) where I walk around the property and clean up, and inspect borders. All the dogs freely follow me during this time and get lots of fetch time and sniff time. There is free play/exploration until around 1pm where we have lunch followed by a one hour "rest time" where I will separate some of the dogs and give quiet time. The rest of the day is filled with play, sun basking, exploring, cuddles, etc, dinner between 5-6 pm, and bedtime between 8-9 pm to start bright and early again the next day. Dogs typically go back home very tired!
Pets
A typical day
During the day, me and my two girls are mainly at home just doing typical daily routine tasks. My kids love dogs and I am always present to ensure proper etiquette on their part. With visiting pups we play a lot of ball outside in our yard, trampoline, explore around the property, take walks on the path across from our home, lay in bed and watch a movie, etc. They are part of the family while here. If I don't have too many dogs on the premises, we take a walk on the private path across the street from my home. Most dogs spend the majority of their day outside playing with their fellow dog friends but some dogs like to go inside and sleep on our bed, couch, rug, etc. We have a ranch/farm style home that has a good balance of shade and sun with lots of open space. All dogs sleep inside our home with no enclosures or crates (unless specifically preferred by the dog) wherever they seem most comfortable. Depending on temperament, some dogs prefer to sleep privately in a room while others prefer to sleep with fellow pups. We tailor the experience to fit your pet's needs and personality.
