I have a 2 year old cat, Lily, and I grew up with cats. I have been fostering since 2023, caring for cats with a wide range of personalities, including shy, anxious, and slow-to-warm-up cats. I’m very respectful of routines and instructions, and I take time to observe behavior changes, appetite, and litter habits so small issues don’t get missed. I’m comfortable administering basic care like oral medications and supplements, and I’m patient with senior cats or cats who need a gentler pace. My goal is always to help cats feel safe and comfortable in their own home while giving owners peace of mind through clear communication and thoughtful updates.

I carefully follow feeding, water, litter, and medication instructions, and I treat your home with respect, always leaving things clean and tidy. I'm especially experienced with shy or anxious cats and have a naturally calming presence. You'll receive thoughtful updates and plenty of photos so you can feel at ease while you're away!

We were so fortunate to have Melissa available to watch our cat. She’s a genuine animal lover and took amazing care of him. He’s had health issues this year and is on several new medications, so we were nervous to leave him, but Melissa checked in with us twice a day with detailed updates and tons of great photos. If you’re in need of a pet sitter, look no further- you’ll be in great hands here!
Highly recommend Melissa! She’s quick to communicate, gives great updates, and even went above and beyond to take care of our tomato plants. And, most importantly, our kitties were very happy!

Melissa went above and beyond when taking care of my cat while I was on vacation. I have a cat that needs to take medicine twice a day so I was already anxious about leaving him for so long. Towards the end of my vacation a blizzard prevented me from getting home for two days. Melissa made sure Casper got his pill despite the weather and was very communicative through the experience. I would highly recommend her especially for anyone with a cat with special needs.
Melissa was absolutely incredible! She was very quick with messages and met with me and Iggy the day before my trip to go over the details. She sent constant updates and photos.
