I have a 2 year old cat, Lily, and I grew up with cats. I have been fostering since 2023, caring for cats with a wide range of personalities, including shy, anxious, and slow-to-warm-up cats. I’m very respectful of routines and instructions, and I take time to observe behavior changes, appetite, and litter habits so small issues don’t get missed. I’m comfortable administering basic care like oral medications and supplements, and I’m patient with senior cats or cats who need a gentler pace. My goal is always to help cats feel safe and comfortable in their own home while giving owners peace of mind through clear communication and thoughtful updates.

I carefully follow feeding, water, litter, and medication instructions, and I treat your home with respect, always leaving things clean and tidy. I'm especially experienced with shy or anxious cats and have a naturally calming presence. You'll receive thoughtful updates and plenty of photos so you can feel at ease while you're away!

Melissa was great — my girl kitties can be a little shy, but they immediately warmed up to her. She was on time and sent detailed updates, and she left cat TV on for my kitties to keep them entertained beyond her visits.

Schedule
I work from home full time so I can be flexible within my daily schedule and adjust my work day around looking after your cats.
- CatsMelissa can host up to 10 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your cat has any special needs or behaviors before my visit. I'll be sure to approach as necessary to make your cat comfortable.
