*I service in Modesto* *I do not mind exotic and farm animals* A little about myself: I am in my 30's and have a 5 year old and we both happen to love all sorts of animals ranging from the traditional house pets to exotics. We are typically home majority of the day so your pets will have round the clock care. I absolutely adore animals, and at one point had an aspiration to study zoology, however I currently take up studying zoology as more of a hobby. I have a lot of knowledge compared to the "average Joe" when it comes to animals of just about any type, and when I find that I don't know something I make it my goal to learn it. Animals that I have handled in the past: various breeds of Dogs (1lb to 210lbs including wolf hybrids. All dogs ranging from 2 weeks to 17 years of age), Rabbits and Bunnies, various kinds of birds (ranging from Love Birds to Macaws, and Pigeons to Peacocks), aquatic animals (Fish, Frogs, Turtles), Chicken, Donkeys, Horses, Hamsters and mice/rats, Chinchillas, Chameleons and Guinea Pigs. Animals and breeds I hope to one day work with/ care for: Corgis, Great Danes, Dalmatians, any kind of Mastiff, Pigs, more Horses, reptiles such as Chameleons and Iguanas, and MUCH more. With us you would get 3 sitters for your prized family memebers rather than just one, so three times the love and affection! Our primary focus would be to ensure that your pet is healthy, and happy! I hope you choose us to help spoil, care and love your pet just as they should be while you are away on holiday or for business!

I have used diff sitter with Hercules but with Melissa it was my first time. She followed all the instructions well, kept updating me with Hercules picture and his strolls. I loved working with her and totally recommend her for pet sitting
Melissa is a nice care giver! She would meet me 1 day before the walk starts to know Zoy and learn everything needs to know about Zoy. During the stay, she always keep the communication channel open and responds in no delay. We experienced the hottest weather in Bay Area, Mellisa make sure the fan is on max speed and air flows as well as leave plenty water for Zoy. Also provides professional observation and updated to me on how Zoy took the heat!! I was on business travel and she really took care of Zoy and eased on my worrisome mind. Highly recommend her!! Melissa was a pleasure to work with. She visited the dogs several times before we left to make them feel more comfortable. You can tell she is an animal lover. When we returned home the dogs seemed happy to see us, but very calm and relaxed, which made me feel that they really enjoyed staying with her. She also stayed at our home. Upon return the house was as clean and sheets were in the dryer. Overall Our experience with Melissa has been awesome and I will definitely hired her again.
Melissa is a terrific pet sitter and house sitter! We had her stay at our home for 2 weeks caring for not only our dogs, but also our chickens and donkey. I can tell the dogs really loved her, because when she came over to return our key, they were jumping all over her, and that isn't normal for them. She also noticed that their dog food supply was getting low, and brought my attention to it before they ran out, so that I had time to tell her what food it was. Then she went and bought a bag for them. She responds quickly to communications, and is very reliable. If she says she is going to do something, then she will do it. I highly recommend Melissa, and I will be using her again for house/pet sitting the next time we need it.

Schedule
Typically someone is always at the house, so your pet will have round the clock care and companionship. We do feeding at 7am and then again at 7pm but can always adjust based on your pets needs.

I have a decent sized property that is fully fenced in along with catio out back as well. Safety is our utmost priority and we take your loved ones health/safety very seriously. I do have multiple rooms to where I can seperate animals if need be, if they are on the shyer side, etc.
Pets
A typical day
If owner prohibits/ the dog is healthy enough, I can do any of the following with your lovable pet: -take to local dog parks -take on hikes through nearby trails -take for a walk around the neighborhood -brush/groom (even quick shampooing) -nail trimming (if the dog is accustom to this and/or easy to handle) -work on basic skills such as potty training, sit, shake, stay, etc. -play some good ol' fetch -assist with maintaining a healthy diet for your pet to live a healthy long life -administer any needed medications (with owners instruction) These are just some of the main services that I can provided, but my services are not limited to just this. I can also arrange for care of exotics and farm animals, just message me for more info/ pricing if interested. Since I do have some extensive knowledge on animals, I can give owners advice on training and dieting, dog behavior, etc. However, I do not claim to be a licenced expert.
