Fun family for your furry friend!
My husband and I had a variety of dogs growing up and have experience caring for our son's dogs. We have cared for our neighbor's cats and look forward to helping others with their pets. We had a house rabbit for a number of years, whom we cared for daily.

What a great family! Melissa and Ryan treated our pup as part of their family. We've tried other options in the past where multiple dogs were involved. Tillie wasn't a fan. She likes people, particularly kids. Melissa and Ryan only watch one dog at a time. You could tell Tillie had fun. I would definitely book with them in the future!

Melissa and Ryan and family are amazing! Ellie was with them for 11 days while I was on vacation. Melissa sent me updates with pictures every night which warmed my heart! And knowing Ellie was with the right active family with a big back yard was the best decision I could make…. I highly recommend them for your fur baby! They’re the best!

Schedule
I have a flexible summer schedule. My husband works from home and is available to help out when needed. We have 2 teenage son's that enjoy dogs and would love to help out. Consistency is important. A typical day could includes meals, walks, time outside playing, lots of snuggles and love.

We have a spacious back yard, quiet neighborhood for walks, and extra room if dog needs to be kenneled. We also live near a dog park. If your pet was to stay at our home, we would be sure it is treated like part of our family.
A typical day
Our family loves to hike and enjoy the beautiful Door County Land Trusts. We also enjoy relaxing in our quiet backyard, playing fetch and snuggles with our grandpups when they visit. We are home most days. Our children are involved in school events which has us gone on some evenings. We would make sure to make the appropriate accommodations for your pet and communicate with you about the plan to be sure you feel comfortable.
