Pet care experience
Your pet’s needs always come first
I have been pet sitting for about 14 years and understand each animal has their own preferences and characteristics. Your beloved pet’s needs and safety come first with me and my goal is to keep them happy and secure on my drop-ins and walks. I have experience with a variety of personalities and temperaments in dogs and cats and I’m willing to work with all. I understand some dogs may be reactive while on leash and I am vigilant and aware of all surroundings when taking your dog out. I truly enjoy providing specialized care to each dog or cat. If your pet has medication needs I have no problem administering medication if proper instructions are left. I have experience with oral, topical, and injectable medications in both dogs and cats. I used to own bunnies and guinea pigs as well and I am happy to care for other pets in the home during my visits. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message me! I genuinely love spending time with your beloved fur children.

Ratings and reviews
Melissa is very kind and professional. My active Australian Cattle dog loved her!!
We hardly leave our anxious dog with anyone outside of family. Melissa was the best sitter I could of imagined. She has a very calm presence about her. Dog was very well taken care for, regular reports given. Easy to communicate. Highly recommend her.
Communicative, and on time! Took good pictures of Dax and left a good recap of their walk. Would recommend as a walker!
Melissa was great with Chief! She sent photos and gave updates during her stay. She even baked and left us some treats when she left! We would definitely recommend!
Melissa watched my two dogs and cat at my house for 3 nights. They all need different levels of care and she handled it with ease. She was easy to communicate with and trustworthy and took excellent care of my pets. I would highly recommend her.
Melissa is so sweet! Even showed up a few minutes early! So good and patient with my little Elmo. I will most definitely use her sitting service again!

Schedule
I currently work part time as a nightshift RN so my availability for Mon-Fri care changes week to week. I am generally available most weekends and do my best to update my calendar. Right now I am only able to provide walks and drop-in visits, I cannot accommodate overnight housesitting care as I have my own furry loved one at home who needs me.
