Hello I’m Melissa a newly FT stay at home mom of 2. I homeschool during the morning and have fun by mid afternoon so adding some visitors to my day would be my pleasure! Both my Bombay cat and Deer Chihuahua were rescued. I work with many rescues in the surrounding areas to make sure all strays brought home find their forever homes. I do live in a rental so I do request that they are potty trained! Both my cat and dog are fully house broke and getting up in the night for those midnight tinkle breaks are possible since my dog is a senior and needs to go too. I hope that gives you a little insight to my life and allows you to be comfortable in choosing me as your fur babies mini vaca destination.

I have a fully fenced decent size back yard with cameras for lots of room to run and get their wiggles out or just explore and sunbathe. I have a large crate if they prefer some quiet time alone just request you bring their favorite bed or blanket so they have a piece of home to comfort them.

A typical day
My days start out bright and early with potty breaks before getting ready for school. They will have plenty of outside play time with this nice California weather.

Though I am not well versed in special needs dogs, ones with anxiety I know far to well as my Bella suffers daily. Constant love and affection would be given to ensure your fur babies feel right at home as if you’ve never left.

Melissa and family are amazing pet sitters who take excellent care of my dogs! She is always available when I call and need a last-minute drop off, no questions asked, her door is open. I had zero reservations leaving my dogs with her as she was very good sending us photos of the great time our dogs were having with her kids. Highly recommend!
Melissa has the biggest heart and soft spot for animals. One day last summer she found a litter of abandoned puppies in the summer heat. Not only did she take them in, she purchased necessary items they needed to survive nursed them back to health and found them each loving homes when the shelter wasn't able to take them. Her animals at home are so spoiled and loved. If you want to know your loved pets are cared for I’d definitely recommend Melissa as she not only would take care of their needs but also go above and beyond to make sure they are as happy as can be while you are away!
Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our furry troop! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! When we came home after our weekend away our pets were relaxed and happy. During our time away Melissa sent us photos of our babies having fun which was really nice
