Starting off with her profile inaccuracies: 1) didn't seem like she had a lot of experience watching pets despite her profile stating she has worked her entire career with pets 2) was not able to care for my pet during stressful circumstances 3) she is not home most of the time she was caring for our pet, her profile doesn't say that anywhere 4) she does have a dog - her profile says she does not have a dog She seems nice when you meet her but, I don't think she is prepared to take care of other ppls pets. We told her that our dog had separation anxiety, she assured us that she would be able to work with our dog and take care of her and that she had prior experience with animals with separation anxiety. She called us while we were traveling, and told us our pet pushed her front door open letting her dog out. I personally went into the apt., that is not possible unless you are on the outside of the apt. Also our dog has NEVER been able to open or push a door open, she told us that we needed to get our dog early and that she could not care for her. We were left stranded while out of town, I was able to find a trusted friend that last minute saved the day. When Melissa dropped off our dog, she said "good luck this dog is a handful". We have had several ppl watch our dog, we have NEVER received this feedback. She goes to doggy daycare regularly, we have never been asked to pick our dog up or that she could not return for being out of control or being to much. On top of all of that Melissa tried to charge us for the stay, despite her cancelling on us early. I had to call Rover several times to rectify the situation. I have never been in such a stressful helpless situation, I would never feel comfortable leaving any animal with her. Melissa is nice unfortunately, there were a lot of things from her profile that were not exactly accurate.

Melissa was a kind and patient care taker of our older dog. She sent me regular updates and pictures while we were away. I felt very confident that my dog was cared for very well when we were away.

Melissa communicated well and was flexible with our last minute travel changes. She suggested a meet and greet before, which we appreciated. Our dogs got along well with her small dog Bean. She sent us text updates and photos. We felt comfortable leaving our dogs with her and plan to board with her again in the future.

This was our first time leaving our dog for boarding since we adopted her and she was very nervous and displayed some stress related behaviors that we had never seen. Fortunately, Melissa handled everything very well and had tremendous patience with our dog. She would provide regular updates and would check with us for guidance when needed. We also appreciated how our dog’s routine was closely followed so that there was no adjustment period upon return.

Melissa was absolutely fantastic with our senior maltipoo, Kye. She was always responsive over rover and text. Really appreciated the pictures and updates! Highly recommend and we’re sure Kye is going to miss her and her dog! Until next time.

Melissa took care of my pup very well. She was very kind and showed so much love. She promptly send me messages and pictures of my pup and also responded my phone calls. We are lucky to have found Melissa. She took him on long walks and made him feel at home. I highly recommend Melissa.?
