I work full time at the zoo but am available after 530pm but on Tuesdays I'm available after 1 pm and I have every other weekend off where I'm available.

Let me know if your animal requires any special care such as meds, dietary restrictions, etc. I enjoy all animals from cats to snakes. With working at the zoo I work with primates, big cats, bears etc. So I work with a variety of animals.
A typical day
Animals require lots of enrichment to help stimulate them physically and mentally. Taking walks with your animal, bonding time such as playing ball together or providing a stimulating toy to play with.

I'm a zookeeper at a zoo plus I have cats, dogs,guinea pigs, rabbit, hedgehogs and bearded dragon that I take care of. I adore animals and treat them like a member of the family. Animals give us unconditional love in which all of them deserve to be treated with the same respect and love. I want to provide the best possible care to each animal. I also used to volunteer my time at the humane society in St cloud MN as well as in West Virginia. Animals are the best and deserve the best care and love we can give them. I can do boarding as well as walks, coming to your house and feeding/ playin with your animal when your away. I can see all kinds of animals such as snakes, rats, iguanas,ferret, chincillas, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, etc!

Melissa was great with our dog, Shadow! He loved there walks; I know this because he stopped chewing up my shoes!!! We used Melissa for dog-sitting for our weekend’s up North and holiday travels, where Shadow wasn’t allowed, due to his being a long-haired Rottweiler,our big-boy of 110lbs! We will be forever grateful to her loving acceptance, calming-nature and how much he smiled so big everytime he saw her!
