Need a superstar pet care provider? We’re here to help! Hi there! My name is Melissa and my wife’s name is Kelsi. We recently bought our first home in Bushnell and are working on our dream of farming and homesteading. Outside of working and house projects, we LOVE animals and being outdoors! We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, + 20 chickens of our own,. Finley is our older small boy, Rani is our yellow lab, and Silas, our outdoor protector and LGD. Then we have Beans, our boy cat, and Billi, our girl kitty. The Ladies (our flock) have varying personalities and are sure to give anyone a giggle! I’ve been caring for pets my entire life, always having a family dog, as well as caring for friends and client pets for over 16+ years now. Kelsi has had a pet since childhood and loves to care for pets of any kind :) We love pets of all shapes and sizes :) I also have experience administering eye drops and medications. I do not offer boarding quite yet, but I’m happy to have your pet visit for socializing and running around the property. We have 10 acres! During my visits/care, I will notify you of any questions, behaviors, packages, etc., and also send you pictures. I will let the dog out in your yard, or walk them, give them fresh water, feed them as directed, and play/give them pets. Please let me know if you’d like anything else while I visit your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
If I’m at your home, I will do my absolute best to ensure I keep your pets routine as similar to their usual routine. I will follow all instructions and be sure to ask questions if any arise. Drop in visits include pets being let out into their yard and dog walking includes an actual walk for the pet. Both visits include fresh water, treats (if permitted), pets, play time, and feedings (when applicable). Please let me know if your pet has any specific instructions to follow. If your pet is visiting our home, we have 10 acres of land and it’s all fenced in. However, when we are outside, our dogs stay close to us and we practice close distancing for safety. We would do the same for any guests.

Melissa is the best! She tends to my cat the same way I do, and he has accepted her thanks to that. I don't have to worry at all when Melissa watches him.
Melissa was awesome with watching my fur baby. I am very satisfied with the level of care he got while I was away. I appreciate the numerous updates and pictures I received when she visited him. I came home to a very happy cat. I’ve already booked Melissa for more drop in visits.
Melissa was absolutely awesome. She updated me every day and spent plenty of time with my dogs and my goats! The animals were very well taken care of, and I did not have to worry about them at all while I was on my vacation. She is my go to dog sitter from now on.

I have my own business, but I have a good bit of flexibility. Due to our current home renovations and projects, please contact me to verify dates and availability. I’m happy to discuss details to see what we can work out. At times, I may need to adjust visits within a 2-hour window based on work meetings.
