I care for your pets like my own!
I was a pet parent of a 15 year old miniature poodle since Molly was 3 months old. I began caring for other pets besides my own dog, by volunteering at different animal shelters since I was fourteen. I volunteered with SPCALA, The Lovejoy Foundation, The Lange Foundation, and other animal rescue organizations. I have experience working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I started doing dog walking and pet sitting on my own as an independent provider in 2017 while I was in college. Then I started providing services through Rover in 2021. I provided Dogsitting and dogwalking for clients in Michigan during my graduate school studies at University of Michigan .I am working part-time in my field and I still want to provide Dogsitting and dog walking services in the Southbay area. I take care of other pets just as carefully as I take care of my own pets. I make sure I always have an eye on the pets I’m taking care of if I’m housesitting and I don’t leave dogs unattended. I can provide references from families as needed.

I do not provide services in my own home because I have two family pets I live with. I think it is best to keep the pet's schedule as consistent as possible and that is what I strive to do.

Melissa was incredible! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and sweet pet watcher. She was good with our dog Jack and I had full trust knowing she was staying in our home. I will absolutely be using Melissa again for our future pet sitting needs.
Melissa was a wonderful dog sitter for us! She stayed in our home, taking care of our two “babies” (Labs ?). She followed the instructions I left her, and if she had any questions or needed further details she would reach out to me for clarification. Which I appreciated. Also, she sent me photos and let me know how they were doing. Melissa is very thoughtful, kind and caring. I would definitely use her again!
Melissa watched our dogs for almost a week and did a great job! Will continue to use her when we go out of town!
Melissa is always great with our two dogs and they are always so happy to see her! She goes above and beyond to take good care of our home as well while staying there.
Thank you so much for making my pups happy. While I’m traveling for work the pups stopped eating and only would eat when Melissa showed up. Melissa was definitely the highlight of their day and her presence made them not only extremely happy, but apparently gave them their appetite back. Thank you!

Schedule
I am offering dog sitting and dog walking in the Southbay area while I study full time for my credentialing exam. I am flexible in being able to schedule dog walking and dog-sitting/ house-sitting throughout the week since I can work my study schedule around that.
Prices include all fees.
