A typical day
I like to keep your pets routine as you would do it. If they are used to you walking them a certain place I will happily walk them the same way. If they like a lap to sit on I will let them sit and be petted. My kids are always involved with in home boarding and love to lay down on the floor with them or let them up on the couches with them.

My name is Melissa and I care for all kinds of animals in your home or mine. I am a stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule. Before becoming a stay at home mom, i received my bachelor’s degree in animal health from Kansas state university and spent most of my working career at veterinary clinics as an assistant/technician. This gave me experience working with and caring for almost every breed and also different medical conditions and medications prescribed by veterinarians. At this point in my life I enjoy taking a step back and raising my 3 kids. Rover has given me the opportunity to stay doing what I love in caring for animals and also provide for my family while being able to be there for my kids while they are young. I take pride in my ability to be punctual, reliable and compassionate with everyone’s pets and homes.

Melissa was beyond incredible! I’ve had professional pet sitters just drop food in bowls and leave. Melissa provided compassionate companionship and comfort while we were away. I usually return to two very stressed and anxious kitties, but that wasn’t the case and it’s a direct result of the amazing care and love they received from Melissa.
