Animal care is my happy place.
Since I was twelve I’ve been tending to my own animals which includes horses, dogs, cats and reptiles. Family, friends and people I met through them trusted me to take care of their pets in their homes since I was fifteen. I have worked in vet clinics all my life including one with exotic animals who needed special care including feeding habits, medication and physical therapy.

I live in an apartment so I’m not allowed to bring home animals but am more than happy to care for them in the comfort of the pets own home. However you want things done for your furry baby is how it will get done whether it’s feeding time, play time, medication or clean up I will always follow your instruction and do what’s best for the dog/cat.

I have used Rover for a couple years now. Many of the sitters I chose had high star reviews, but Melissa is by far the best. She is punctual, reliable, gives top quality care and excellent feedback. Above all, my dog absolutely loves her!

Melissa is awesome! She actually showed up 15 minutes early, which I have to say is a first out of all the in-house sitters I've tried. My pup immediately took to Melissa and absolutely loved her, which is a welcome relief. Reliable, attentive, caring and excellent with updates and feedback. I will try to get Melissa to take care of my pup every time I can for now on.
She is an excellent dog/ cat sitter! Recommend her!!!
Melissa was great and I would absolutely have her sit for my goofballs again. She really helped me out of a jam and was awesome with the dogs. I so appreciate her help and will definitely check in with her the next time I need a sitter.

Schedule
Working through Rover is my full time job right now so I have a flexible schedule. I drop off my daughter at school at 8/8:30 in the morning and pick her up at 3:30. I don’t work Sundays due to church and family time but I am willing to discuss options.
