Hi! We’re Melissa and Casey! We are a husband/wife team - and have 15 years experience taking care of dogs while their owners are on vacation! When your dog is here - they're part of our family! We both work from home, so while your dog is here - they're never alone and get a lot of attention! Visiting dogs have free rein of our house. They are allowed on furniture and can go outside as often as they like. We have a fenced in back yard, and water bowls both inside and outside. We send picture updates of your dogs, so you have the peace of mind knowing they're doing well while you're away!

They were very kind people. Hence my 3 stars. Melissa and her family were lovely and they loved kenji but unfortunately upon picking him up, he was given back to us immediately needing to be taken to the vet due to a issue with him excessively licking his tail and having really bad diarrhea and he has since given us the hardest time with his eating schedule and has been very inconsistent with eating, since his stay here. We recognize that our dog, kenji, may be very unique and his feeding regime is very complicated and difficult and we recognize that sometimes it won’t be a match and this wasn’t the best stay for him.
We had such an amazing experience with Melissa's family watching Pickle! This was our first time leaving him for an extended period, and since he’s still a puppy, I was definitely nervous about how he would do. They made us feel so comfortable from the beginning and treated Pickle like he was part of their own family. They were incredibly patient with him, especially while he adjusted to being away from us and his normal routine. I really appreciated the updates and knowing that he was being loved, cared for, and kept safe while we were gone. It gave us so much peace of mind during our vacation. You can genuinely tell that they care about the animals they watch and aren’t just doing this as a job. Pickle was in wonderful hands, and I’m so grateful for the care and patience they showed him. I would absolutely trust them with him again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their dog like their own.

This was my first time using Rover and I lucked out and selected the best. Melissa and family were amazing and took care of my dog like he was their own. I will absolutely be using them again! Thank you for taking such great care of my baby.
Creek is so happy to stay with Melissa and her family. I can tell by the photos Melissa sends me that he feels at home and he is well taken care of.
We won’t use traditional kennels bracelet our pup is part of our family and hates being caged and left alone all day. Melissa treated Chance like part of her family and we are thankful to take him somewhere he is safe and comfortable when we have to be away.

We work from home, so someone is always here with your dog! We have flexible schedules with plenty of time to play fetch and give your pet the attention it deserves!

A typical day
We have a fenced in back yard, where dogs have the choice of being under a shaded patio or in the sunlight on the grass! We live in a safe neighborhood with plenty of walking trails and even a dog park 2 minutes away for dogs that need more structured walks!
