Safety, trust & environment

I have a huge yard with tall wood and cinderblock fencing for extra protection. I have a playful 8 year old cockapoo, two tuxedo cats, and a 4 year old boy who are all ready to play with your baby and provide companionship. Leaving your baby with someone else is scary so my ultimate goal is to make you feel as secure as possible with your decision, knowing your baby is safe and loved!

Information Melissa P. would like to know about your pet

It is really helpful to know your pet's routines, likes/dislikes, energy level, and all the vital information like medications and food. Let's plan a meet and greet to see if I'm a good fit for your pet!

A typical day

I am here to make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible. I want to follow the routines that your pet is used to, whether that's feeding times, doggy door access, sleeping arrangements, play time, etc! We feed a range of diets as well as provide medications if needed. My house is truly a family environment with cuddles, playtime, then nap. Let's run around outside, toss the ball around, then come inside and nap on my lap (yes, even the big babies get lap time!)

Pet care experience

My dream since I was a young child was to own a huge piece of land and rescue every animal that needed a home. That's not reality for me, but that's my heart. I've taken care of a variety of animals and dog breeds since I was young. I've trained puppies and cats as well as walked many dogs through their senior years. We have a huge fenced in yard and safe neighborhood for walks.

Melissa has a heart for animals. She takes excellent care of them. You could leave your Pets with her and they’d be totally safe and loved. She had a fully enclosed yard.

If I had to ask someone to watch or care for my fur babies it would be Melissa. She’s trustworthy and an animal lover. She’s patient and loving to all animals.

Melissa has been raised with all sizes and breeds of dogs. She is very comfortable, loving and capable of taking care of them. She has taken care of our dogs often and will continue to do so in the future.
