I do have a FT job now. I work M-F 8AM-4PM and going to school! I am able to provide Rover services before work and/or after and long weekends (I may be able to work from home Mondays and Fridays, please let me know if this is needed and I will try and accommodate!)

I will heed everything you tell me about your dog, what’s bad for them, what behaviors should they not be doing, areas of your home they shouldn’t be going into. I want to make sure your dog is safe, healthy, and has fun with me while you’re away so anything I can do to make the process easiest for your pupper or kitty, I will happily do! I understand as well as any other animal lover that these babies are not just pets, they’re family and I’ll take care of your family member as if they were my own!

I don’t have much experience with special need dogs but I’m certainly more than willing to learn how to care for them. Just please let me know what I need to do and I will do it to make sure your pup or cat is properly taken care of.
A typical day
My GSD loves playing fetch so I have a ball launcher that helps me send balls much farther than if I threw it so if your dog loves to play fetch, I can bring that along! I love playing chase or be chased with dogs as well! As for walks, I love taking my dog along the river walk that heads into downtown Naperville. I find its a nice distance walk but also plenty of people to meet and a river to walk next to and explore! I find that my GSD is exhausted by the time we get back and I believe its because that route we take is so mentally stimulating that it does the job! Whatever your dog loves, I can and will accommodate their needs to ensure they have a great time with me!

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, from my current GSD to our late Lhasa Apso. My first dog was a Golden Retriever mixed with an Irish Setter, Kelly. I get along with every dog I’ve met and always look forward to making new friends! Every dog I’ve owned has also been trained by myself as I learned from a young age to do so with my dogs. I love all dogs, both big and small as I also live with a Yorkie who my GSD adores! I’ve cared for my boyfriend’s Italian Grey Hound and Whippet numerous times too. I’ve also lived with two cats before and took care of them whenever my room mate was away.
