Melissa not only loves animals, but she understands them. She is gentle, compassionate, responsible, and caring. She has cats, and she volunteers at a cat shelter. She delights in all kinds of dogs. I have seen her concern and care first hand.
Melissa is a friend and neighbor. She is eager to get down on the floor and engage with my two cats. When first meeting them she asked me questions about how they prefer to be approached and, going forward, has interacted with them, remembering what they like and don't like. I like how she talks to them in a caring kind way. I'm confident she will approach animals she is charged to care for in a like manner.
Melissa is a fantastic pet caregiver!! I've known her for over 10 years, and she is always so caring and kind around my cats - even sitting and brushing them when she stops by for non-pet sitting visits!
