My name is Melissa. I was born and raised in Maine. Animals have been a part of my life since the day I was born and they hold a special place inside my heart. Animals bring a certain joy to life that humans can’t. I feel it is so important to take such good care of our fur babies because they depend on us. I am respectful, loyal, professional, responsible, loving, and nurturing. I currently have 2 cats of my own and have had many dogs over the years. It is my guarantee that your fur babies will get the utmost respect, love, attention, and care they deserve. I have experience in reptiles, chickens, bunnies, and horses and would gladly help out with those requests. Please feel free to reach out for details! I currently am a stay at home mom to 4 kids—2 of which live with us full time. We are busy; however, I pride myself in being super flexible to the best of my abilities!!

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is not fenced in so any flight risks will need to be trained well or have a leash and/or a stake brought with them. We do have an invisible fence and the appropriate collar so if you’d like, I can use that as well. I also know an EXCEPTIONAL dog trainer so if you need one, please reach out for details! :-) I do have 4 kids and one cat so all I ask is that your fur baby be good around both kids and cats (or at least not torture them haha). Regardless, this is a very fur-friendly home with lots of love to give to our fur guests. :-)

A typical day
Love to go on walks and I have a great, quiet neighborhood to do it. We have kiddos that also love to play with our fur guests as well! Does your baby just want lots of snuggles? That’s alright with me too! ;-)

- Please let me know if your fur baby has any special needs. I’m very experienced with dogs on a special diet or dogs with diabetes that may require daily insulin shots. Please let me know ahead of time if your fur baby is not good around kids (we have four kids ages 6, 9, 14, and 17, as well as good with a cat. I have three cats, one is an old lady who usually just ignores dogs haha but I do have two young cats who are learning to be comfortable around dogs. I need to ensure the safety of my children and my own pets and so I will not take any aggressive dogs. :-)
