I’ve cared for many dogs and cats over the years and always enjoy it. I love being outside so no matter the weather, your pup will always get their daily walks with me! I have experience caring for dogs of all temperaments, from highly reactive and shy/timid dogs to high-energy pups and senior dogs. Whatever routine your dog needs I’m happy to follow, wether it’s just hanging out, going on big walks/runs, or keeping up with training. I have personally trained my own dog using a structured program, achieving 100% proofed off-leash recall, reliable heeling in busy environments, and strong obedience commands like sit and down. I believe that dogs need both physical and mental stimulation, so I incorporate structured play sessions to keep them engaged. If you need training advice, I can offer guidance on home structure (preventing chewing, excessive barking, and jumping), basic obedience, and play strategies. While I have extensive knowledge of reactivity, my hands-on experience in that area is still growing, but I’m happy to help where I can. If you have an existing training program, I will follow it consistently to maintain your dog's progress.

House sitting: I typically stay at the owner's house and work from there, taking breaks between meetings to give the dog a short walk. In the evening, either before or after dinner, I like to go for a longer walk to provide additional exercise. I also make time during the day for a structured play or training session, ensuring the dog stays mentally engaged and less likely to become bored or destructive. My routine is always adaptable to the specific needs of the dog or cat I’m caring for, ensuring they receive the attention and care they require. Boarding/Doggy Day Care: Our home is on a quite cul-de-sac with very dog friendly neighbors. Our yard is currently unavailable as we are cleaning it up but I am happy to take your pup to a park on a long line to get some free roaming time. Note that I have my own dog, but that will be the only other dog with us since I only take one dog at a time. If we need to run out for a few we would leave your pup in a separate room from ours. Our dog loves other dogs but they will always be supervised when together.

Schedule
I work fully remotely, so I’m home all day and available for pet care. My workday consists of meetings and independent tasks, giving me plenty of flexibility. If needed, I can adjust my schedule by shifting work to the evening to accommodate pet care during the day. I am a volunteer fire fighter so when I have shifts I will be away, but if you want your pup to get longer care my fiance would be happy to cover me if you would like to arrange that.
