Hello! My name is Melissa and I am a graduate from the University of California Irvine. I love all animals, and have grown up with and cared for pets my whole life including cats, dogs, lizards, rats, and hamsters. I know how difficult it can be to find the time to travel with your fur baby, so I would be happy to take care of your pets and show them all the love they’ll need while your away. I live with my lovely partner, Jose, who also has experience owning pets growing up. He has helped me in my pet sitting for the last three years, and has a great love for animals. We will be able to give your lovely pets twice as much love!

I have nothing but very positive things to say about Melissa! She cared for our 6 month old orange tabby overnight for 2 nights (and 3 full days). She went above and beyond to help him feel comfortable and loved while he was at her home. I chose Melissa because of her previous reviews, and we drove over 25 miles to her place because I couldn't find anyone in my own town whom I wanted to consider. Even before I wrote out all the info for the boarding of our extremely active kitten, Melissa assured me that she would provide care for him according to whatever I asked her to do. During our trip she sent regular text updates and photos which were so reassuring, especially since this was our first ever boarding experience. When we arrived for pickup, our crazy kitten and all of his belongings were carefully packed up and ready to go as soon as we got there. It's worth saying again that Melissa went above and beyond our expectations, and we highly recommend her!!
Once again, Melissa did an incredible job with our pups!!! I had to go to the emergency room and was there for 6 days unexpectedly and she was able to help us at super short notice. It was a huge relief for my husband and I to not have to worry about our 2 pups while we dealt with my health issues. She even picked them up and dropped them off to make it extra convenient and was able to pick up dog food at target too. I don’t know what I would have done without her help. Thanks again Melissa, I appreciate everything you do!!!
Melissa is a first rate dog sitter. She took extremely good care of my dog while I was away overseas. She checked in twice a day, with photos and let me know how my dog was doing. I will not hesitate to use Melissa again when I have to be away.
Melissa was the BEST sitter we could of ever asked for. She took great care of our two pups, one senior dog and one puppy, sending us updates every morning and evening. My puppy is a very shy dog and I was so shocked to see her on Melissa’s lap like old buddies when we picked them up after 5 days. She even sent us home with a sweet card and treats for the dogs. I will be going to Melissa for all of my doggy sitter needs !!
Melissa took amazing care of my dog while I was out of town! I had to leave her for longer than I ever have before and was worried about her separation anxiety, but she was perfectly happy with Melissa and had a great time with her. Melissa is super communicative, sent lots of pictures, and let me know how everything was going each day, so I didn’t have any worries at all. I can tell my dog was super comfortable with Melissa and even a little sad to leave her. I’ll absolutely book Melissa as a sitter again in the future and I know my dog will be excited to stay with her again (:
I Highly recommend Melissa, she is awesome! First time we’ve left our dogs with anyone. She was very attentive and caring. It was obvious by how happy they looked in the pics she sent us. Melissa is not only a great dog sitter she’s also a wonderful person.

Schedule
I am currently studying for my MCAT exam, which allow me to be very flexible for walks, feeding times, and play times for your pet! I am willing and able to draft a schedule that will work for both myself and you and your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
While I live in an apartment, I am within walking distance of a dog park to make sure your dog will have as much outdoor time as you need! I am open to any and all suggestions for caring for your pet, and I am excellent at following any directions I am given. My top priority is to care for your pet, and ensure that you feel they are well taken care of with me. I look forward to working with you!
A typical day
I have plenty of time to throw a ball, toy, or stick around for your friendly pups. I can use toys you provide for your pet and can stimulate them however you typically do at home. I also have dog toys of my own to make sure your pet gets all the love, play, and stimulation they need.
