I'm a veterinary technician, I have 20 yrs experience in taking care of dogs and cats. I am CPR certified and I can administer medications if needed. Besides my medical background as a animal lover, I can offer great companionship to your best friend while your gone. I currently have a 7 month old Australian shepherd who loves to play and can also offer friendship. I've been taking care of my friends and family's pets while they go on vacation since I was 19 yrs old. I'm confident in my ability to take care of dogs.

Melissa has watched my pets over the past 15 years for me whenever I've had to go out of town. She has also come during the week to feed them and let them get outside time while I'm at work. She listens to instructions and cares for them as if they were her own babies. She's good with attention to detail and communication throughout her stay/ visit with our babies. I highly recommend her for watching your pets if you want someone that's going to be attentive, caring, and great at communicating.

Schedule
I'm currently not working and staying home with our kids and animals. I walk our dog in the morning then hang out the rest of the day, my kids play with our dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on 5 acres but we have fenced off an area behind our house for our dog and goats. I have a plastic kid pool to help them stay cool in the summer. I typically feed my pets twice a day and a treat mid-day. My house can get pretty loud with my kids yell and screaming when then play. My kids are 10 yr (son) and 9 yrs(daughter) old, I have a husband who loves to play with the kids and dog, it can get a little crazy at our house. I also have a 7 month old mini Australian shepherd, she is a shy girl at first but then gets crazy when she decides she likes you. I have 5 cats some like dogs and some tolerate them and just judge. I also have 2 goats in the backyard, they are very nice but will give a warning if something happens that they don't like. All my pets have vaccines and have been dewormed.

A typical day
There's a lot to explore on our land but we go on walks on different trails within Round Rock, Pflugerville and Taylor. Then of course we play at home inside the house with AC. We have a little kiddie pool for them to play and stay cool.
