I am an experienced and passionate canine trainer and pet sitter, with skills to work with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. My focus is on understanding and communicating effectively with dogs, using their natural language to achieve positive and lasting results. My approach is based on understanding and respect for canine nature. I believe in training based on knowing our dog according to his characteristics and temperament. To work with both, the dog and the owner to help them learn to communicate correctly and above all, I believe in building a relationship of trust and love between the dogs and their owners. Melissa took exceptional care of Bella for an entire week! Bella had a wonderful time, socialized perfectly with the other dogs, and always looked happy and comfortable. Melissa even helped arrange for Bella to have a bath on her last day, so she came home super clean and fresh. I’m truly grateful for the love and attention she gave Bella. I highly recommend Melissa and would definitely book with her again!
I cannot say enough good things about Melissa! She pulled up and immediately connected with my dogs and started working with them. You can tell within minutes that she genuinely loves what she does and is damn good at it. I thought I was just finding someone I could trust to come walk my dogs while I’m at work, she’s SO much more than that. I already feel completely comfortable leaving my babies in her care, I feel blessed that I found her. ☺️
So great with Mack! Huge yard allows him to run and play. She takes the time to slowly introduce the dogs to one another to prevent any issues. The daily videos and photos was a treat for us while we were away.
Melissa was absolutely amazing with Spanky while we were in Japan! She kept us updated and communicated with us throughout the entire trip, sending pictures and videos every day. Being so far away, those updates gave us so much peace of mind because we could see that Spanky was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Melissa was dependable, attentive, and treated him with so much love. We are incredibly grateful to her and would absolutely trust her with Spanky again. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.
Melissa is a kind and knowledgeable sitter. I met with her prior to the boarding and was pleased with her. Melissa sent pictures and video when she could and I did not have to wonder how my fur girl was doing. I will be using Melissa again in the future.
Always a pleasure leaving my babies with Melissa. She my go-to dog sitter no matter what. Always available and knows how to deal with my little crazies. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I offer personalized services of training, canine education, behavior modification and counseling. I have experience working with dogs as professional for 4 years and I was working in a hotel and school for dogs as a caregiver and trainer. I have schedules available from 7am to 9pm on weekdays and from 6am to 10:30pm on weekends.

I would take care of them as if they were my own, with a lot of attention and care and playing with them to entertain them and decrease the chances of anxiety.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically, I will play fun games with which to entertain themselves and develop their abilities. I usually take them out for Structured walks to do comands and explore new scents and socialize with other people and animals at a level they can handle. I have a huge yard, totally fenced so they will be able to have playtime, with me in a 1 by 1 while i get to know them and with other dogs that i consider a good fit for them to enjoy a safe and fun social time.
