I am an experienced and passionate canine trainer and pet sitter, with skills to work with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. My focus is on understanding and communicating effectively with dogs, using their natural language to achieve positive and lasting results. My approach is based on understanding and respect for canine nature. I believe in training based on knowing our dog according to his characteristics and temperament. To work with both, the dog and the owner to help them learn to communicate correctly and above all, I believe in building a relationship of trust and love between the dogs and their owners. My boyfriend and I were headed out of the country for an extended period of time. I needed someone to watch Max and Norman that could keep up with their energy. They each have very big personalities so I was looking for someone who could handle them. Melissa was the first person who came up in my search! She went above and beyond to send pictures and videos each day, she kept them on a schedule, introduced them to dogs they were able to play with and made them feel at home while we were away. She truly treated them like her own. The dogs were so excited to see us at pick up but you could also tell they would miss her- a sign of a great trainer/sitter! Max and Norman will most certainly be back in her care the next time we travel. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you!
Melissa is awesome! She took care of Rocco for 7 days. She always kept me informed about Rocco with photos and videos, I didn’t have to ask her for it. I’m glad that I found her. I recommend her services 100%.
Melissa took amazing care of our Dog Maverick and truly invested a lot of time and attention into him. He’s a strong, powerful dog, and she knew exactly how to handle him while making him feel comfortable and confident following her lead. It was obvious she genuinely cared about him, and that gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. She is awesome, and I would absolutely trust her with Maverick again. Highly recommend!
Kind and very good with the dogs. I brought three dogs and all of them felt immediately good with her. She followed my instruction to the letter. Punctual on the time and commitment. when I pick up the dogs everything was perfect I don't think you can ask for more. I highly appreciate her work and will come back to our next year
Melissa was absolutely amazing with Murdox! We were away for five days, including the 4th of July weekend, and she went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and cared for. She kept us updated with daily pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Murdox can be a little sensitive to loud noises, and Melissa was patient, attentive, and made sure he felt safe during the fireworks. She was great with communication, very dependable, and truly has a natural way with animals. It’s clear she cares about the pets she watches, not just as a job, but as family. We’re grateful for the care she gave Murdox and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their furry family member!

Schedule
I offer personalized services of training, canine education, behavior modification and counseling. I have experience working with dogs as professional for 4 years and I was working in a hotel and school for dogs as a caregiver and trainer. I have schedules available from 7am to 9pm on weekdays and from 6am to 10:30pm on weekends.

I would take care of them as if they were my own, with a lot of attention and care and playing with them to entertain them and decrease the chances of anxiety.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically, I will play fun games with which to entertain themselves and develop their abilities. I usually take them out for Structured walks to do comands and explore new scents and socialize with other people and animals at a level they can handle.
