I have always loved taking care of various types of animals since I was a young age, including dogs, cats, rodents, and exotic birds. I have a very active Boston Terrier pup of my own that enjoys running around and playing fetch. Likewise, I would love to run around with your puppy, dog, kitten, or even cat and keep them entertained with assorted indoor and/or outdoor activities. I currently work from home full-time and am flexible with my availability. I also have training as a veterinary assistant from an AAHA-accredited veterinary practice as well as animal keeper training from the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC. Furthermore, I have volunteered many hours at dog and cat adoption events at PetSmart and Petco. I am caring, compassionate, trustworthy, and responsible, and will cater to your pet's specific needs. I am also very clean and tidy, and will take exceptional care of your home while you are away!

Melissa did a great job watching Pete my cat. Melissa used to watch the cat I had before he passed. I’ll definitely have her watch Pete in the future.
She’s been my cat sitter for a while now. She is a wonderful communicator, I really appreciate her responding to me promptly. My cat is so old now and I want to make sure he’s well cared for when I’m gone and Melissa does an amazing job!
Melissa took care of our 17yr old very needy cat for two days. She did everything we asked for during her visit. I love that she sends nice and funny pics of our cat. It always makes me giggle. Thank you so much for being so thorough and caring Melissa!
