Hello My name is Melissa! I am a Registered Veterinary Technician so I have ample animal knowledge and experience with medicine administration. About this sitter: I am a Vet Tech so I have experience with multiple species. I am experienced in caring for Senior pets, pets with disabilities and illnesses. I am trained in animal First Aid/CPR as well as the administration of all types of medication and if your elderly pet requires fluids I can administer that. Why I love dog sitting I know what it is like to be picky about who cares for your pet. Being a petsitter myself allows me to give fellow pet owners piece of mind. My experience administering medication: I am very comfortable administering all medications including fluids and injectable medications.

This was our 1st time using Rover. Melissa was kind & courteous with our meet & greet. The dogs loved her from the beginning, (our husky sometimes barks at strangers) Melissa loved on the husky during our entire meet & greet. Thank you Melissa for caring for our dogs while we were out of town. I would definitely use Melissa again if we need.
This was our very first time using Rover - having moved halfway across the country, we had no idea what to do with our dogs while we went out of town so I checked out Rover and found Melissa. Our dogs LOVE her - she is awesome and is now our go-to for our doggies.

Schedule
I am available in the mornings and evenings. If you're in the immediate Roanoke area I can accommodate Lunch/mid day visits. I do work during the day but have a pretty flexible schedule to accommodate various routines

- I would like to know the temprement of the dog and would want to meet him/her at least once before the actual event. I don't have any preferences in breeds and I am against judging a dog by their breed.
