I typically have the most availability on Sundays and Mondays, as those are my primary days off from my full-time job, however I can usually work in a morning visit and an evening visit throughout my normal work week!

An added benefit of hiring me for your pet’s care is that we can discuss adding in personalized training! I have experience training basic obedience as well as “fun behaviors” such as army crawl, back up, stand up, turn around, roll over, and so much more!!

Pet care experience
Having always been an animal lover, I began my professional animal training career over 20 years ago working with marine mammals (dolphins and pinnipeds) and switched to land mammals for the last 12 years. I have worked with hundreds of animals from dogs and cats (domestic and exotic) to birds, pigs, various hoof stock, skunks, porcupines, rats, and many more in between! I have been part of a training company that adopts and trains animals to showcase their abilities and promote adoption in a fun and entertaining way and now I would like to bring my many years of experience to the care of your pets!

Melissa took care of our elderly cat and we felt very comfortable with having her over. Transparent communication which was very appreciated and loved the pictures she sent.
She was great. Even called out my baby’s bumps she has all over and wanted to make sure that was normal. What Melissa didn’t know is we had two other dog walkers that day and neither of the other two walkers mentioned a thing about it. I would definitely rebook Melissa again.
Absolutely wonderful
Melissa is phenomenal! I cannot recommend her enough. Our dog listened to her well, and our skittish cat even came out of his shell! It is such a relief to have found a knowledgeable, capable sitter. She is also quite personable. We will definitely hire her again. Thank you, Melissa!!
