Safety, trust & environment
When visiting with and caring for your animal I provide a calming and steady approach to getting familiar with your animal. I make sure to provide the most pleasant and rewarding experience by sticking to any routines, training, and treats while catering to your animals specific character. While being outside (in the yard or on walks) I ensure that the yard is properly closed off and/or they are wearing the proper gear for the selected activity. I make sure to abide by any food restrictions and that no other dogs or people come in contact with your animal for everyone’s safety.

Melissa was absolutely fantastic with our girls. We have one very anxious dog who Melissa completely won over and made our time away so much better for her, and us. Melissa took exceptional care of our babies and made sure to send us lots of updates, pictures, and videos. Beyond pet care, Melissa took wonderful care of our home. She is a pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend her services enough.
Melissa helped me out last minute watching my senior pit mix when my other sitter got sick and had to cancel. She was wonderful with my Walter! She was completely comfortable with him and his needs from his prescription diet to his walking needs to his counter surfer for trouble. She would text me with any concerns to make sure Walter was doing ok. I so loved this for my old boy. I would highly recommend Melissa! I will definitely have her watch Walter again.
I’ve had the pleasure of being Melissa’s neighbor for the past six years, and I truly feel lucky to know her. She’s always been incredibly generous with her time and care—whether it’s walking my dog Maddox or feeding my bunnies when I’m away. Her love for animals is unmatched; it’s not just a trait, it’s a calling. I’ll never forget the time she called me to help rescue a group of baby skunks that had wandered away from their mother—her compassion knows no bounds. Melissa is not only a devoted dog mom, but also a trusted friend to every animal she meets. Watching her interact with her fur babies is a joy; she nurtures them with genuine affection and unwavering dedication.

Melissa is an animal whisperer! She’s amazing with my dog Murphy and I’ve seen her on several occasions interact with other family animals. She’s kind, caring, and treats our dog like he is one of her own. She’s great at walking dogs, play time, and lots of snuggles. I recommend Melissa to everyone I meet!!
Melissa took care of my dog and was excellent with him. She was very timely with the schedule I provided, and went above and beyond to make sure boomer was all set before she left. Currently working part time and freelance so have a flexible schedule to accommodate different times and schedules as your needs require. We can come up with a set weekly schedule or on an as needed basis,
