I only take care of cats. I am happy to check the mail & grab your packages. I always do a meet and greet with clients before the booking begins. I have experience taking care of special needs kitties with cerebellar hypoplasia (which makes them wobbly). I have experience with administering insulin to diabetic kitties, administering transdermal medicine for kitties with hyperthyroidism, giving oral liquids for illness, and oral capsules in the form of Pill Pockets, crushed in wet food, and manual pilling (definitely my least favorite!) I also have experience with kitties on raw food diets, senior kitties, multi-cat households, pregnant kitties, weighing and caring for newborn kittens, low vision and hearing, and shy kitties. I place a high value on having a customer-centric mindset. I also pride myself on being a good communicator who responds quickly to clients' messages and I provide detailed updates during my drop-in visits. ABOUT ME I have grown up with pets almost my whole life. My parents got our first dog, Prince, when I was merely five years old! Then we got our second dog, Cujo (I didn't pick the name!), when I was 7 years old. In my teen years, we had cats for a while too. One of my responsibilities growing up was to take care of our dogs and cats. I would feed the dogs, check their water, let them outside when I got home from school and picked up the yard. I also cleaned the cat litter boxes and tended to the cat's food and water. Additionally, my family had chickens and guinea hens. I helped care for their needs, grabbed the eggs, and cleaned the coops. As an adult, I've had 3 cats (easier for my living arrangements). I adopted Izzy from the Humane Society, Tiger was born from an old roommate's cats, and I rescued Luna from a shelter. I have taken care of friends' pets previously and friends have taken care of my pets. My rule of thumb is to take care of your pets as if they were my own. I take care of their basic needs first and give them plenty of love! LET'S DO THIS! I would take care of your pet like they were my own! It's the small things really - such as not opening the front door fully, so your cat doesn't run out. I take care of their basic needs like food, water, medications, and litter (if applicable). Then, I give the cat(s) lots of love and playtime. In addition to Rover, I also work as a freelance writer providing resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and short/long-form content. I care for your pets like they were my own by taking care of their basic needs and giving them plenty of love!
