I've cared for various breeds of dogs and cats in different settings over the course of the last 10 years. I enjoy playing, walking, hiking, beaching, feeding, and snuggling with them. I also like to give animals their space based on personality; sometimes there is comfort just being in the same room doing our own things. I read a few books on training and personality when I was doing this as a main source of income years back. I am always on time and keep clients fully informed as requested. My goal is to take good care of your pet so that you can take care of your other priorities. I also have a great deal of experience housesitting as well as caring for humans.

The best situation is one where in addition to us chatting over expectations, you've written everything down on paper to reference later as well; I'm really good at following instructions thoroughly.

I have know Melissa for more than 20 years. I have always known her to be dependable, hard working and reliable. Recently not only has she been an amazing friend, but someone I could count on to help me. She has house sat for us and done many jobs such as collecting mail, helped organizing our house, done tasks such as food shopping and caring for plants. She has also helped us babysit our two children, ages 5 and 9. She is a great friend and I can always rely on her when needed.
Melissa did a great job pet sitting while we were roommates from 2017-2018. I specifically remember one dog in particular which she would have over for hours and overnights at a time. She did great with that dog and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Melissa took better care of my dog than I did they went on hikes & beach days when I had to be on the Mainland. She is very capable &very understanding of YOU & your fur baby or babies & treats them as they were her own. I actually think my dog liked doing things with her more than me. My friends even requested her for their pets when needed. She will make a VERY GOOD addition to your business. Your animals WILL ALWAYS PRIORITY to her & may not want to come home..
Melissa is a wonderful caregiver of my houseplants during my time on vacation or work travel. She adhered to the schedule perfectly, and went above and beyond with its care and feeding. Melissa is known around our social and professional circles as someone that can be trusted and relied upon to provide the best care for plants and animals.

Schedule
I am open to opportunities in the San Juan area (I don’t have a car at the moment so will walk or bus or train or Uber for appointments. For overnights maybe you can pick me up. I was living in Hawaii the last decade and have been connecting with nature. I'm originally from NYC so already have experience with concrete jungles too.
