Trustworthy dog lover!
I have taken care of dogs since I was little and have always been an animal lover. Even in college I worked at a vets office taking care of both the dogs and cats that boarded there. I currently have a 1 year old rescue mix and have taken care of her since she was 10 weeks old. Additionally, we have spent time taking in a foster dog with both medical and behavioral needs. I have spent a significant amount of time training our current dog with positive training methods as well as providing enrichment opportunities for her. We have a big fenced in backyard for dogs to run and play and will provide walks, one-on-one playtime, and lots of love for your dog!

Melissa and her family took wonderful care of Zephyr! Really grateful to have someone I can trust to take care of him when I need to leave him behind. He was so comfortable with them.
Fantastic Sitter! Melissa and her family took care of our dog for an extended stay of one month while we visited family abroad. Taking our dog on such a long plane trip was not an option and he is a dog that is very attached to his family and needs human contact all the time. So, I was not sure how things would go, but It really could not have gone better!!! Everyday for one month Melissa sent me daily updates and pictures. These updates were very much appreciated by our entire family! When she described what our dog was up to I knew he was acting like himself and completely comfortable and well cared for. From the photos I could see he was very happy. He went on daily walks, had playtime, and he just really enjoyed being a part of their family. Our dog is terrified of thunderstorms and Melissa did her best to calm him during these times which I know was not easy. I could not imagine a better experience for my dog. We are very grateful to Melissa and her family for providing our dog a home-away-from-home. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!

Melissa is a fantastic sitter! She’s quickly earned both of my cats’ trust and is highly dependable. She sends good photos every visit and shares updates regularly.
Melissa did a great job with my two cats! They can be shy with new people, but they warmed up to her on the meet and greet. She spent an hour with them each night and sent great photos of playtime. I hope to hire Melissa for future visits!
Melissa was amazing with Muffin. They went for daily walks even on the snow days. She sent daily pics and kept us posted on what kind of day Muffin had. I would definitely rebook with her the next time we’re out of town.

I currently work as a school psychologist so I am off of work and home in the summers and then work a school schedule during a school year.

I have a fenced in backyard and will provide daily walks and enrichment opportunities. While we have a cat, she is fine with dogs and can be separated if needed. Our dog is crated for sleep at night and when loft home alone, but we also have parts of the house that are blocked off by gates so dogs can have their alone time if needed.
