Melissa was very nice and I was initially a little hesitant that she’s in an apartment because my dog is used to having a big yard but that quickly went away because they took him out for walks and to the park often, which he loved! She always sent pictures and videos and my dog always looked happy and tired in the best way. I know he enjoyed all the attention, especially from her children as well. I would definitely book with Melissa again!
Melissa and her kids were really great with my dog, Kyro! Kyro tends to get very anxious when with new people and environments, but Melissa and the kids made him feel very comfortable. We got lots of updates about him while on vacation and were very happy with the attention and love he got while we were away. Will definitely be bringing Kyro back next time!
Melissa cared for our 2 dogs for a week. She was so kind and really wanted to continue doing what the dogs were used to. Thankfully she agreed to put salve on Mavis’s hot spots from allergies. Dupey went to Melissa to get some petting when we returned to pick up the dogs, so I know they were well loved. I was happy to find a pet sitter without other pets so I didn’t have to worry about any potential interactions. Thanks for all your hard work, Melissa!

So glad we found Melissa on Rover and had her watch our Daisy while we were on vacation. She and her children were so good with our Daisy! They sent pictures and videos and took her for walks. We definitely recommend Melissa and will use her again!
Melissa was a great sitter for my dog over the holidays. She sent pictures to update me on how my dog was doing and went above and beyond to make sure his stay would be comfortable. Melissa was also very flexible and communicative when my flights were delayed and I wasn’t sure about a pickup time. Would absolutely consider booking Melissa again in the future.

Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily life. I’m available 7 days a week and make sure each pet gets individualized attention, play, exercise, and affection. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keep their routine consistent and stress-free.

I follow the pet’s normal routine as the owner requests. In the home, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter or potty breaks, playtime, and calm companionship. I always respect the home, keep spaces tidy, and send daily updates so the owner feels connected and confident.
A typical day
I keep pets happy and engaged with walks my two kids love to be walked to school which is nearby if you pet is also up for a morning walk we would gladly take he/she along with us. Indoor or outdoor play, games, and plenty of affection. Activities are always based on each pet’s energy level and routine, whether that means active play or calm cuddle time.

I have two gentle, respectful kids (ages 5 and 6)—one a cat lover and the other a big dog lover—so your pet will receive plenty of love, cuddles, and positive attention in a calm, structured environment. I always ask about your pet’s routine, energy level, feeding schedule, medical needs, and any behaviors or triggers ahead of time so I can provide safe, consistent, and personalized care for your fur babies.
