Loving Care When You are Away
With 20 years of experience caring for the animals in our home, I understand how important it is to give them love and attention. When we gave Mara to our children for their birthday, we knew it would be heartbreaking to leave her in the care of strangers. That's why I started pet sitting, because I know the pain owners feel when they have to leave their pets. I treat every dog as I treat my own, because to me, they are not just animals, they are part of our family.

I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy for the first time with Melissa. She has a very warm presence about her. And she sent lots of picture and video updates throughout the day. As a first time dog owner, I was nervous to leave him with someone for the first time for a full day, but Melissa was very reassuring and cared for my little guy so well! We will definitely be using Melissa lots more in the future!
Melissa was great! As soon as we arrived, she took Poppy out for a walk with Mara. She sent lots of photos and videos so we were reassured that Poppy was adjusting well. She even hand-fed our little pup to make sure she ate. Drop off and pickup were flexible. We would definitely ask Melissa to dog sit for us again!

Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine since I love animals. Working from home allows me to care for them and keep them in sight at all times. My priority is to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for at all times. Additionally, I have my dog, Mara, who can provide them with great company and create a friendly, fun environment.

I also adapt to each pet's routine to keep them happy and calm while their owners are away. If the pet requires a specific environment or has any preferences, I make sure to adjust to that to ensure their well-being.

A typical day
I can do group walks with Mara, play in the snow, have races, and scent-tracking exercises outdoors, or take them to a dog park. Indoors, I can keep them entertained with toys, hide-and-seek games, and relaxing massages.
