Hi, I’m Melissa! I’ve lived in North Beach for two years now and honestly, I think I spend more time greeting the neighborhood dogs than the people. I grew up in a house full of pets (everything from frogs to 60 lb pit-mixes), so a home doesn't quite feel right without a wagging tail. I currently work from home, which means I have plenty of flexibility to give your pup my full attention. Whether it’s a high-energy trek around Washington Square Park or a slow, senior-paced stroll through the neighborhood, I’m your girl. My family dog back home, Maddie, is a 12-year-old ball of energy who taught me everything I know about handling strong, enthusiastic walkers. Whether it’s a small dog with a big personality or a large, high-energy breed like the pit mixes I grew up with, I’m comfortable and confident handling dogs of every size and temperament. I’m big on routine, plenty of treats, and even more dog hugs. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend!

Safety is my top priority, and I treat your home and pets with the same care I give my own. When I’m with your dog, they have my full attention. Whether we’re hanging out while I work or exploring North Beach. I’m a firm believer in 'leash-only' walks and always keep a respectful distance from other dogs unless I know yours is a social butterfly. I stick strictly to your feeding and medication schedules (no table scraps, no exceptions!) to ensure their routine stays perfectly intact while you’re away.

Schedule
Since I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to make your pet’s care a natural part of my day. I’m wide open in the afternoons and weekends for long, leisurely walks or extended play sessions. Whether it’s a high-energy fetch session at Washington Square Park or just hanging out at home for some midday company, I have the time and flexibility to ensure your pet never feels lonely or restless.
