Dogs are my sunshine!
Our home has been a foster refuge since the 90's, I have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of pups and many cats find their loving homes. My experience with so many personalities and individual canines has given me the confidence to offer quality care for dogs in my area. I especially enjoy caring for senior dogs, and I can also support your type of positive training modification. I have been through many, many training classes with my dogs. I have 4 dogs that have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen awards. Recently, my dog Willow, has received her AKC Farm Dog title. My dog Summer, has earned her CD -obedience- and her NDD, draft title, her Farm Dog Award, as well as many other AKC titles.With the fosters that have come to me, I have worked with MANY types of canines - all sorts of shenanigans...you bet!!

Mellissa was outstanding! I’m very attached to my sweet Mountain Cur, Sugar Magnolia. Mellissa accommodated me with very short notice and was very gracious and helpful and made the process very easy for me. She sent me daily reports with photographs that made me feel at ease knowing Sugar was happy and being well cared for. She was out on trails every day getting exercise and socializing with other dogs. I would not hesitate to use Mellissa services again and give her the highest recommendation.
Melissa was so wonderful with our rowdy girls. They immediately took to her, and she even did some training with them! We didn't think we'd be able to find someone to replace our old caretaker but Melissa is a perfect fit!
Melissa was amazing!! She spent more time than we expected during her drop-in visits with our pups and kept us updated after every visit. She even brought them a special treat of chicken and sweet potatoes!! Melissa is no doubt the new best friend of Elvis and Annabelle.
Melissa is the most professional dog sitter I've ever worked with (and I'm old!). From the first phone call, she was thorough and courteous. Melissa took the time to ask questions and explain her methodology, and maintained clear communication with me through the entire process. I've never had a vacation where I didn't worry about my dog (until I hired Melissa). She provided daily photo updates without me even asking. It's clear that Melissa truly loves dogs, and her kindness and thoughtfulness take pet-sitting to a whole new level. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone.
Riley and Skyla had a great 2-night stay with Melissa! We got frequent communication and photos so we could see that our pups had settled in nicely and were getting plenty of attention. Riley and Skyla had not been away from us for quite a long time so we were a bit worried, but Melissa did a fantastic job helping to make them feel comfortable and loved. We will definitely use Melissa for future dog sitting!!
Melissa is great with every animal she has come in contact with. She has watched my dog many times. She takes the dogs in her care for walks and she makes sure they have everything they need. She has also rescued dogs that are in need, she has even rescued dogs from people I know who were unable to care for them anymore. Your dogs will be in great hands with Melissa.

I plan my day around walking the dogs, depending on your pets needs, the weather, and your schedule, my day is flexible. Pet care is my top priority

I cannot have pets staying at my home at this time, but hopefully in the near future! Right now I am offering in home drop in visits only.

A typical day
I will be walking your dogs and exploring the neighborhoods near your home, or we can load up in the car and travel to the great parks in Warren and Hunterdon County. Meadow Breeze and Point Mountain are two of my favorites.
