I work remotely and I am doing pet sitting and dog walking as my schedule allows. I also have my own 2 cats, so I don’t often take long pet sitting engagements unless there is time to come home to care for them as well.

Hi! I’m Melissa! I’ve always enjoyed caring for and spending time with all animals. I have a wide variety of pet care experience that includes cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and various exotic pets. I have volunteered at various rescues and shelters as a dog/cat exerciser and socializer, had five foster dogs, have worked at animal hospitals and as a dog walker/pet sitter, and took a working vacation to care for dogs, cats, and parrots at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. It’s safe to say, your pet is in good and experienced hands with me.

Melissa was lovely to work with. I knew during the meet and greet that she would be great with whiskey. She was very communicative and knowledgable. She also was not hesitant to ask questions and pose suggestions. I highly recommend her.
Melissa stayed with our pups for 8 nights, one more than planned due to a flight cancellation, which she graciously covered. She dotes on our 2 dogs, every single day. Walks, games, lots of cuddles, outings…We are so fortunate to have this special sitter and friend in our pack.
Dogs enjoyed her company and loved all the updates and quick questions she asked to make sure my dogs were happy. Would use her again.
