SInce growing up with dogs, I am a true dog lover to the core! I am that dog auntie to all of my friends who takes care of their pet children and I spend my spare time at the AWLA shelter helping dogs find good homes. I've taken behavioral trainings and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and truly love spending time and caring for them like my own!

Melissa was fantastic from my first inquiry through our dog’s stay. I was very anxious to leave him for the first time with a Rover sitter - he’s older, takes meds, and can be quirky - but she was great. I got daily texts and pictures and he seemed very happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend her!!
We couldn't be happier with Melissa! She and her husband watched our 3 year old German Shepherd for 9 days, and we had complete peace of mind the entire time. She sent daily updates with great photos and videos, which we absolutely loved, as it was so reassuring to see Zoey thriving on her vacation. Melissa’s home has a wonderful patio and fenced-in yard, perfect for pups to enjoy the fresh air. Zoey came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. We’d highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a loving, attentive sitter!
My dog had an amazing time at Melissa’s! I got lots of updates during her stay and we were able to do a meet and greet beforehand to ensure my dog would be more comfortable when it was time for her boarding. I was anxious about finding the right sitter for her and in the end I didn’t have to worry at all :)
Melissa was great! She was flexible with my schedule and was very accommodating to my Willie's fear of steps and hip/joint struggles. She was even able to calm him enough to get him to go up the stairs. Highly recommend her.
Phenomenal job for my nervous dog! Already booked another appointment and looking forward to having my dog stay with Melissa again!

I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule and am available to take your dogs out for a walk or check in whenever needed!

Safety, trust & environment
Making sure your pets are comfortable and safe is my number one priority. I understand your pets routine is essential and making sure they are well cared for and relaxed, especially if they are anxious or have separation anxiety. Also, respecting your home and making sure everything is as it was is extremely important as you're trusting me to be in your home.
A typical day
I love to be active with pets by taking them on walks to explore our local area and parks, let them sunbath on the deck or chill in the shade or even give them fun puzzles at home to keep their brain attentive and working. Of course, naps and relaxation is key too!
