Crazy cat lady for hire!
I was born and raised with a deep love for all creatures. I grew up around dogs, cats, horses and cattle and loved every minute of it as I learned patience, guidance, respect and proper care and communication. Aside from owning my own dog and cats, I also have ridden, competed and worked with horses for 30 years. I’m fully committed to ensuring no animal is ever hurt, scared, uncomfortable or mistreated when I’m in their presence. Ive worked full time at small and large animal veterinary practices for fifteen years and currently work at an emergency vet in Los Angeles. Rest assured your baby will always be in good hands. I'm outgoing, smart, reliable and most of all; I treat every pet as if they were my own. I maintain open communication with pet parents, provide updates, express concerns (if any problems arise) and leave every pet with hugs and kisses at the end of each visit.

I follow instructions left by pet parents when it comes to their pet and ALWAYS treat pets as I would my own, with love, respect and a gentle, quiet demeanor. I respect a clients home and their belongings and touch nothing unless advised to do so. Any accidents (potty accidents or otherwise pet related) are cleaned up promptly and I always leave a home as I found it, sometimes even better if I see something that could you a little wipe down!

Melissa is an amazing dog sitter! She loves my dogs at least as much as I do (sometimes I think...more!) My house is always clean and just the way we left it when we return. She sends text message pics of my dogs while we are gone. We have been using her for 7 years and never had a problem. I highly recommend her.
Melissa is very dedicated, professional and knowledgeable about animals. She has owned and worked with dogs, cats, mice, horses and just about everything in between. She has a unique ability to really connect with her animals and understand what their needs are. She's loving but also teaches them to be respectful, obedient and social dogs. She also will often help owners with behavior problems and training if they request it. It's also a plus that she has worked in the veterinary field for the last few years and has an EMT/Fire and Lifeguard background. She has a wonderful service companion dog named Boomer, that is by her side all the time. You can feel very confident that your pets would be in very Well cared for with Melissa.

Schedule
I live and work in Burbank and I’m flexible about location and distance for pet sitting/walks/etc. I can offer early morning visits, afternoon drop ins, evening visits and overnight boarding..
