Animal Science major, all welcome.
I have years of experience managing animals. Anywhere from farm animals to our loyal companions. I’ve worked. In a veterinarian hospital so I do have some medical experience as well. I am an army veteran, chasing my dreams of obtaining a PhD in Animal Science. I attend Cornell University but I have lots of breaks in between classes to care for you pets. I also am a professional dog trainer and breeder. Currently not breeding while I go to school. I am very experienced in puppy raising and the individual needs of each dog. I have an Instagram so you can see my prior experience, @MK-K9. I am from California and will now be starting a new chapter in Ithaca, NY.

Melissa was a great communicator and had the bonus of a pup the same age as mine. She also worked a bit with my dog on leash manners when they went out for a walk during his stay there. I hope she is available the next time I am away.
Melissa did a wonderful job taking care of my goldendoodle! She was very responsive and flexible when I had a delayed pickup. I would highly recommend her to others!
Mollys stay with Melissa was great! Melissa sent us pictures of Molly while we gone. Our dog Molly (rescued research dog) has always been fearful but she came back a lot more confident and playful likely from interacting with both Melissa and her dogs. Melissa is very easy to talk to and is very responsive. We would be more than happy to leave Molly with her again.

Melissa was wonderful with my cockapoo. She was comfortable with my dog’s complicated condition and he loved being with her. She made me be relaxed that he was safe if he had any problems. We will hire her again!

Programa
I own two dogs. One is a 4 year old working line German Shepherd. The other is a 6 year old jack russel mix and he is my daughter’s dog. They are on their own schedule for potty. Typically they go out for a potty break every 2 hours. My schedule is very open so your pets will have many opportunities for potty. I can also separate my pets from yours if there are any concerns. I have kennels and we built a very nice enclosed outdoor kennel. It is insulated, has air conditioning, beds, water, toys and a fenced in outdoor area. I also am able to walk your pets multiple times a day. I have access to a private beach on the lake so we can have play time there as well. It is about a 2 minute walk from my house. Your pet will be monitored at all times, I currently have no litters so I have open availability.

I know and understand dog etiquette. Every dog has their own individual needs. I have experience with dogs with all different types of behavior such as dogs with anxiety, high drive, insecurities, etc. I will keep my dogs and your dogs separate, unless you would like them to socialize. I do kennel my dogs when needed. I have experience with working dogs so safety is my top priority. I will never put your animals or my dogs in a situation where it is not safe. I want everyone happy and healthy! Your pets will have free roam of my place with a nice comfy bed, toys, and the food you provide.

Un día normal
A typical day would be feeding, walking, playing catch at the lake in our private beach. No over exerting, we take breaks in between. We also have down time as well just to relax. If the owner is comfortable we can also go on car rides to run small errands like going through the drive through to get a coffee and a pup cup 😊.
