I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always felt a special connection with them. To me, pets are so much more than companions….. they’re family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved and cared for, especially when their people can’t be there. I grew up in a home where caring for animals was simply part of life. Over the course of about 10 years, my mom helped find homes for 57 animals! People even began leaving animals in our driveway because they knew we would take them in and make sure they were cared for. I’ve helped care for numerous litters of puppies and kittens and have even helped rescue injured wildlife, including birds, bunnies and squirrels. That love for animals has never left me. I’ve rarely met an animal I couldn’t connect with, and I genuinely enjoy learning each pet’s unique personality, quirks and needs. I’m a single mom with a 15 year old son who also loves animals, and I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my schedule. When your pet is in my care, I want their routine to feel as normal and familiar as possible. I will follow your instructions closely, respect their individual temperament and give them the same love and attention I would want someone to give my own pet. I also understand that you’re trusting me with your home. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit or staying with your pet, I will treat your home with respect and leave it just as I found it. Most importantly, I want you to be able to leave knowing your pet is safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for while you’re away.
