Hi there! I have had dogs my whole life, and will love yours like my very own. My best friend is my 40lb. bull terrier mix. She drinks bottled water, eats organic dog treats, and is living her best life! Her sister, Lily, is a sweet pittie who we actually met through Rover and ended up adopting from our clients. She is just one example of how our clients become part of our family. Our pups are well-socialized, and will happily share their toys and home. In fact, I'm pretty sure that they think all of the dogs that come to stay are here specifically to visit them. They love new friends! I am dog CPR and First Aid Certified and can administer both oral and injectable medications. I have worked as a volunteer at the animal shelter socializing and walking all types of dogs. A B O U T M E : I have worked with different animals (dogs, cats, horses, small pets) since as long as I can remember. Now, I am a (crazy?) dog mom who throws birthday parties for my fur babies and our dog friends. We give your dogs a full doggy vacation experience while they are in our care. You will not feel bad about leaving them behind with us! We provide mental stimulation, cuddles, and plenty of supervised play time with compatible companions. We match playmates based on a variety of factors and use our years of expertise to analyze behaviors. With 8+ years of experience dog sitting in this area, many of our doggy guests are regulars and welcoming to new pack members which happens only after ensuring successful one on one introductions are made first. If there is any indication that two dogs might not along, we simply don't intermingle them. Aside from being a life-long dog lover, I am an elementary school teacher. Not to worry, Beau is the man when it comes to doggy day care so your fur baby recieves 24/7 care. We both are seasoned dog sitters with unparalleled reliability. A D D I T I O N A L C A R E G I V E R : Beau and I live in a home with no human kids and are completely dedicated to our dogs. There is always someone with the dogs between the both of us. The business has evolved naturally as it has grown in our 8 years sitting together that he provides the primary care of dogs in our home and I provide all in home check in visits. He is as big of a dog lover as I am and is a huge part of the success of our boarding and doggy daycare services. We work as a team and both passionate about what we do. O U R H O M E : Dogs have supervised access to both the inside and backyard of our house. We have a newer, secure fence in the backyard. The gate is very strong and metal. The few plants we have outside are verified through the ASPCA as non-toxic to dogs. We do have a pool with wide steps for wading. We never use a pool cover nor do I leave dogs unattended outside ever. (I am a very overprotective dog mom.) We have lots of outdoor playtime, but dogs are never just left in the backyard and sleep indoors in the heated & air conditioned house on dog beds, cots, or in crates depending on the individual dog. Many of our dogs enjoy swimming and playing water fetch in the summer. We have just about everything your pup will need here during their stay including toys, bowls, and bedding, but please do send your dog with their food and any special treats. We take pride in cleanliness and safety of our dogs and doggy guests. Toys and bedding are washed between each guest, food bowls are never shared between dogs, and water is constantly fresh in clean bowls. Did I mention that we even allow dogs on our couch and bed? This is why I fell in love with Rover in the first place - I just couldn't fathom boarding my best friend into a boring kennel! We provide 24/7 care with lots of attention, cuddles, and love.
