No dog too big or small!
Having owned many dogs over many years, from a dachshund to a large lab mix, I am comfortable with all ages and sizes. I have worked with professional trainers to learn how to teach basic leash skills and good manners, so I am happy to work with your dog if they need some extra practice. 🙂 Most recently I owned a Shetland sheepdog/beagle mix that unfortunately passed away from cancer at the age of 13. I can’t get a new dog quite yet, but I am ready to be your dog’s new best friend!

I know how important your pets are and I strive to keep their safety and happiness at the top of my priority list. I can check in on your pets during the day to give them a quick potty break, or I can give them a nice walk to get some energy out.

Melissa took care of Panda for us for a week and she was phenomenal! Panda is high energy and a bit rowdy and Melissa went above and beyond with her! She visited twice a day and took her out, played with her, gave her food and water and worked on waiting at the door/gate with her. I can’t say enough about how great she was! She will definitely be our go to caretaker for Panda every time we leave town from now on. She was hands down the best!
Melissa took care of my dog Poppy for several days. Prior to leaving her with Melissa I felt helpless as a dog owner. I struggled when taking Poppy on walks and was often exasperated by her behavior in the house (mostly jumping). When I got Poppy back from Melissa, she was like a different dog. She was much calmer and more focused. Melissa showed me how she had been working with Poppy on walks and in high-stress areas like the front door. I used to have to use every ounce of strength I had when taking Poppy on a walk, but after Melissa worked with her, she would walk with almost no pulling and was receptive to commands. For the first time, I am enjoying my dog and I am so grateful for Melissa. I could tell she put so much love into Poppy and genuinely enjoyed their time together.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time so I have a pretty open, flexible schedule during the week to play with, walk, or even bathe your pup!
