I would be so grateful to care for your pet and get some pet love!! I can give your pet a safe place, cuddles, walks and lot of attention and fulfill my need to be around animals at the same time:)). I am an art therapist that spends lots of time with kids at an elementary school and am very patient and caring. Animals are amazing to me and I was grateful to grow up having several dogs and cats around me. My amazing cat if 17 years passed away years ago, so I am excited to keep animal energy back in my life. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of walking trails and fun places for your dogs to experience new smells.

Melissa was fantastic. She was super flexible when my flight got cancelled and rebooked for the next day. She sent updates twice a day and kept an eye out for my cat's allergies. Nessie immediately seemed to feel at home. I had peace of mind for the entire trip and would be delighted to leave Nessie with Melissa again.
Melissa’s house is a great spot for cat sitting! Our very anxious cat was so chill and cuddly with her! A very positive sign for a safe place for him!! I loved all her updates and our cat was very happy when we returned!

Schedule
Over the summer, I am home during the day when not traveling. I work full time at an elementary school from the end of August to the middle of June and am gone from 8am to 4:30pm during the weekdays. I have most holidays off!!

I have a very relaxing apartment space where the pets are allowed to roam freely. It is always a bonus when pets like to sleep with me on my bed. I do live in an apartment so would need to make sure your pet is not a barker. I love cuddles, keep the water bowl filled, feed and walk according to the schedule they are used to. I love to walk so take pets out frequently when I’m home, which helps to reduce their anxiety at a new place.
A typical day
I live in a pet friendly neighborhood right next to a park. I love to walk, so your pet will get a lot of exercise. We can also do lots of cuddling!! I engage them with their toys if they bring them and love to take pictures of them during their stay.

- I live in an apartment, so the dog cannot be a big barker. No preference for breeds. I don’t have any other animals and live alone. Would need to know if there are any health issues. PER LANDLORD REQUEST, I CAN ONLY SIT FOR ONE PET AT A TIME.
