Additionally, our home sits right on a beautiful lake, offering your pet a serene, vacation-like stay with a safe yard and scenic walks tailored exactly to their energy level. Whether your dog needs specialized senior care or just a loving family routine, they will be treated like one of our own.

Melissa took care of our dog, Brownie, for 8 days and 8 nights, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment Brownie arrived, it was clear that Melissa and her family treated her as one of their own. Their beautiful home by the lake provided a wonderful environment, and Brownie felt completely at home with them. Knowing she was surrounded by such a caring family gave us tremendous peace of mind. While we were away on a cruise with limited communication, Melissa went above and beyond to keep us updated. She consistently shared photos, messages, and updates about Brownie, making sure we knew she was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Brownie has a special diet that requires her favorite food to be cooked, and Melissa was incredibly flexible and accommodating in helping maintain her routine. She truly made every effort to ensure Brownie felt comfortable and loved during her stay. Melissa and her family did far more than we expected. They took Brownie on walks, gave her plenty of attention, and cared for her with genuine love and kindness. We never had a single moment of worry while we were away. I thank God that we found Melissa. Knowing Brownie was in such caring hands allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. We are incredibly grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and exceptional dog sitter. They took great care of my dog during the overnight stay! I felt comfortable knowing my pup was in good hands, and I appreciated the updates and care they provided. My dog came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with them again!
Melissa and her family are amazing. They took such good care of our pup and kept him fully entertained. Would 100% recommend. They have a wonderful backyard where her family played with our pup everyday, took him on short hikes and in the lake by their home. She asked for preferences before making our pup do anything new and sent regular updates which was great.

Schedule
Because I homeschool my two daughters, aged 10 and 14, our family is at home throughout most of the week. This unique schedule means your pet will never be left alone for long stretches and will enjoy a highly attentive, reliable daily routine. A typical day includes frequent potty breaks in the yard, structured feeding times that match your home schedule, and plenty of love and attention from all of us. Because our girls are older and mature, they know exactly how to respect a dog's boundaries. Whether your pet thrives on constant companionship or prefers a quiet spot to nap while we work, they will seamlessly blend into our warm and stable household rhythm.

A typical day
We will tailor our day to whatever makes your pup the happiest. We love going for walks around the lake or hitting up a nearby trail, often at Lord Hill Park. Our yard is definitely big enough for activities such as fetch, chase, and sniffing around. If your dog is a water lover, they are more than welcome to splash around and go for a swim in the lake right outside our door!
