My husband and I stay busy with our jobs and most of our evenings/free time is spent work on the farm. Our two dogs spend most of their time hanging out with us or lounging in the house.

Hello all! My name is Melissa and I've been working with animals most of my life and have so loved being able to do so! On top of being a pet owner all my life, I've been an avid horseback rider which meant I was always barn sitting and pet sitting from a young age. I've cared for up to 20 horses and 6 dogs at one time, so no dog is too big :) I've worked with many sizes, breeds and personalities in dogs and I take a personalized approach when it comes to pet care. I have two of my own dogs, Oakley and Theo.If you're looking for an active household, we're definitely it! We spend most of our time on our farm and work from home part of the week. Pets have always been family to us and your pets would be treated and loved just like ours. Ask me about multi dog discounts or other pricing concerns!

Melissa was amazing! Theo and Ernie hit it off immediately and Melissa kept us updated with photos and videos. He had so much room to run around and came back to us blissfully worn out. Will definitely be booking again!
I have 3 dogs and sometimes it is hard to find someone willing to stay with all of them. Melissa was available at the last minute and she was great with the dogs. She gave them long walks and lots of outdoor time. She was conscientious and thoughtful about feeding, medication, and treats. My dogs can get a little neurotic when we go away, but everyone was content when we returned.
I've known Melissa for over a decade - she not only spoils her own dog, she's worked as a farm hand and pet sitter and has cared for the animals for many others. She provides personalized love and attention to every animal I've seen her come in contact with. She's a hard working, responsible woman and I trust her with my animals any time I need a sitter. She has my full recommendation!
