I’ve been caring for dogs for several years, regularly dog sitting for my sister, cousins, and friends since my early 20s. I’ve helped with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping pets company while their families are away. I also have two cats of my own, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and will treat your pets with the same love and care I give my own.

When caring for your pet in your home, I make their safety, comfort, and routine my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and anything else your pet may need. I’m respectful of your home and will make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa! She’s taken care of our big girl Tula (180 mastiff) on multiple occasions while we were out of town. She’s done both long and short stays and every time she says she’s available to help it brings us so much relief. If Melissa is coming we know that means our Tula will be well taken care of and given so much love and attention and won’t even miss us at all. We trust her so much and any pet would be lucky to be cared for by Melissa.
Melissa has been watching our 4.5-year-old Golden Retriever, Harper, on and off since she was just 6 months old, and we couldn’t recommend her enough! She is incredibly sweet, patient, playful, and loving with Harper. Melissa always pays close attention to detail, follows every instruction, and never misses an ask, which gives us so much peace of mind when Harper is in her care. Harper absolutely adores her - whether they’re heading out for a walk or simply hanging out on the couch getting cuddles. We always know Harper is happy, loved, and well cared for with Melissa!

Schedule
I work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, so I’m available for pet care in the evenings, after work, and throughout the weekends. I’m dependable and happy to work with your pet’s normal routine, whether they need a walk, a drop-in visit, playtime, feeding, or some extra attention while you’re away.
