Melissa and her family took great care of Kiwi and we would be happy to leave him with them again! Melissa is responsive and sent frequent updates and pictures to us during his stay, which was very much appreciated. Kiwi was clearly adored by everyone in the family, especially by Melissa’s two sweet and caring daughters who made sure that he got lots of play time 😄 We’re glad to have found such a lovely family to help care for our pup when we’re away.
I’m extremely happy with the care Melissa and her family provided for Max. From the very beginning, they treated him with so much love and attention, which gave me great peace of mind. They sent me daily updates with photos and messages, letting me know how Max was doing, which I really appreciated. Max settled in so quickly at their home and became very comfortable, almost like he was at his own house. Melissa’s two daughters were incredibly kind and gentle with him, and it was clear that Max absolutely adored them. I would 100% recommend Melissa and her family to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of Max!

Melissa and her family were fantastic! Zoey stayed with them for over a week and had a wonderful time. They provided excellent communication throughout. Very responsive with regular updates that put my mind completely at ease while I was away. Zoey was extremely well cared for and clearly happy during her stay. She got plenty of exercise (probably more walks than I give her at home!), and it was obvious she felt comfortable and loved. Melissa is trustworthy, attentive, and treats dogs like family. We've already decided they're our go-to sitters whenever we leave town. Highly recommend!
Melisa and her family are great. They have watched our Havens pup a few times already, and I would not hesitate to ask them again (and will). He is well treated, well loved, and in an environment with younger kids which is much like he has in our home. Melissa has given us updates while she has had our pup, and we know he is well taken care of. If you are looking for a home for a few days or longer, look no further. This is a house with kids who do there share, and a warm and welcoming space for your dog to get their belly scratched in good company.
Melissa and her family really took care of our pup. From the moment we dropped him off, to when we picked him up days later, I had zero concerns. They were welcoming and loving, and sent me some updates while they had him. One thing that is important to us for people watching our pet, is that they treat him with the love and care he gets at home - Melissa and her family did just that. I would have no hesitation dropping him again - and have already made plans to do so!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup the attention they deserve throughout the day. Our children absolutely love dogs and are always eager to play and snuggle with your pup. Your dog will be surrounded by a loving, active family who will treat them like one of our own.

We follow your dog’s routine closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, or favorite toys—to make them feel right at home. We offer regular potty breaks, daily walks, and lots of cuddle time throughout the day. We also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you're away. Our goal is to make your pup’s stay happy, healthy, and stress-free!
A typical day
A typical day of dog sitting includes walks in the many trails in the neighbourhood, lots of playtime, and lots of attention. There’s always time for belly rubs, naps, and plenty of cuddles. Every day feels like a mini vacation for your pup!

- Before watching a pet, I’d love to know their breed, daily routine, any medical needs, dietary restrictions, favorite toys, and how they do around other animals (we don’t have any at home but useful for walks and interactions when we pass other dogs). It’s also helpful to know if they have any fears (like thunderstorms or loud noises), special commands they respond to, or quirks that make them unique—anything that helps me give them the best care and keep them happy and safe!
