WFH Pet Lover with Room to Roam!
I have owed cats and dogs my entire life and see them as family. They add such joy to my life and I make sure that all animals are happy, well-attended to and comfortable. I currently have 4 cats and an Irish Wolfhound and they all get along surprisingly well. We typically watch our friends dogs when they are out of town, so my cats acclimate well to other animals in the house. They typically keep to themselves and stay in their cat room most of the day. My Irish Wolfhound, Pepperanne, is the sweetest, most gentle giant. Although she's no spring chicken (8 years old), she LOVES playing with other dogs, and yet, also doesn't overwhelm other dogs and gives them their space. I will love your pet like my own and make sure they feel comfortable during their stay. Although 5 animals might sound like a crazy household, I have a very calm home and everyone is respectful of their space and others.

Melissa is an amazing sitter! She gave me so many updates and photos, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Petri was in her care. I wouldn’t leave Petri with anyone else!
This was our second time having Melissa watch our pup! We feel very confident leaving our dog with her and she sends lots of photos and updates on how he’s doing which we really appreciate! When I dropped my dog off he was so excited he knew exactly where to go and our pup has come back exhausted both times from all the playing. Thanks Melissa!
I would definitely recommend her! Melissa gave daily updates, sometimes even more than once, which made me feel comfortable that my dog was OK. I like that she took him on regular walks too! My dog was definitely well taken care of, and I know that she wore him out because he came home and went directly to have a nap.
Melissa was amazing! She helped us out last minute when we needed a sitter and was so accommodating. Our boy had a great time with her. She was communicative throughout and sent us regular updates, which really put our minds at ease. We'll definitely be using her again!

Schedule
I work remotely and am home all day during the week and have lots of time to love on your pet. Weekend plans are typically local and I don't venture far to ensure your animal is comfortable, especially for any animals with separation anxiety.

Safety, trust & environment
My home has plenty of space both inside and out. I have a very large fenced in back yard with plenty of space for your pet to explore, a very zoomies-friendly area. I live in a nice neighborhood, also, with plenty of non-busy streets to walk your pet when it's not too hot. I live close to the Bush Airport (IAH) (about 20 min away), so if you ever need a last minute sitter, I’m on the way to the airport and makes for an easy drop off and pick up!
