I am very comfortable with dogs of all kinds and whatever their routine requires, I typically walk my own dogs at the same time with no issues and am comfortable with any kind of harness, collar or leashes.

I love taking long walks and going on “sniffaris” where the dogs lead the walk and can sniff and interact the way they’d like. This provides physical exercise as well and mental stimulation. I’m happy to play outside whether it’s fetch or just having time to be outside, in addition to giving the most pets and affection a dog could want.

I have taken care of many different types of dogs ranging from Chihuahuas, pit bulls, Belgian malinois, and everything in between. I am also a dog mom of two and have successfully rehabilitated them from the shelter into well trained and social dogs. I know first hand how stressful it can be to find someone to rely on and trust with your animals, so being a reliable and trustworthy caretaker is my top priority.

Melissa has been taking care of animals since she was a child and has always expressed the highest degree of responsibility and compassion that comes with caring for animals. She now has two dogs and four fish of her own that she takes care of and loves exceptionally. I would trust her with my own life, so she would definitely be the best fit to care for animals. She understands behavior cues and knows to be compassionate and patient. I have nothing but praise for her and her ability to care for others, especially pets.
