Pet care is something I truly enjoy and look forward to as part of my routine. I'm available throughout the day and can accommodate up to 3–4 visits daily to fit your pet's schedule. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, feeding, playtime, medication, cuddles, or exercise, I'm committed to providing reliable, personalized care. For dogs with a little extra energy, I'm also happy to offer runs instead of walks. My goal is to make every visit a positive experience and help your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

Any behavioral quirks or preferences, like how they react to new people or animals, will help me make them feel more comfortable and safe. Additionally, knowing their favorite activities or toys allows me to provide the most enriching experience possible. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to suit each pet’s individual needs!
A typical day
When I’m with pets, I love engaging them in activities that suit their energy levels and personalities! For dogs, I’ll go on stimulating walks, play games like fetch, and work on basic commands if they enjoy training. For cats, I’ll bring out toys for interactive play, provide cozy lap time, or offer gentle brushing for relaxation. I’m also experienced with small animals, so I know how to safely handle and provide care for fish, reptiles and amphibians in ways that keep them healthy and happy. My aim is to make every pet’s time with me fun, engaging, and tailored to their needs!

Hi, I’m Melissa! With a lifetime of experience caring for animals, I’m passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and enriching care for your pets. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and even amphibians, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of animal friends. I spent two years working at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I also worked as a professional dog walker and pet sitter for another company for two years. During this time, I honed my skills in animal behavior, giving me valuable insight into how to keep pets happy and stress-free. In addition to a degree in biology, I have four years of volunteer experience in wildlife rehabilitation, which deepened my understanding of animal care and wellbeing. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets like my own and give them a wonderful experience while you’re away!

She has had animals all throughout her life and has volunteered and foster at the Wisconsin Humane Society so she has the experience and knowledge for whatever special needs your four legged/winged/finned/legless family member may require or not, she will ensure they get the proper care and attention just as if you were still there with them along with LOT OF LOVE!!! ❤️ I trust her taking care of mines whenever I can’t be around and my little dudes seem to not even notice my absences with the exceptional care, comfort and energy she brings which is so amazing not just then but me too! I can’t express enough how wonderful and lucky it is to have someone as passionate, fun and easy going as her to watch over them as if they were her own! You are the best sitter ever and I and my dudes can’t thank you enough!!!
