Melissa was amazing! She was able to accommodate my super late minute need for a sitter. She sent me updates and pictures throughout my Toby’s stay with her. I was super nervous at first. It was my dogs first time having a sitter. My first time using Rover and I’m not even from the Austin area! So this was an incredible experience and highly recommend Melissa to anyone local or from out of town in need of a sitter. Thank you for taking care of my child as if he was your own. 🫶🏼
Melissa was amazing! She went above and beyond and spoiled my dogs! They came home better than when I dropped them off— she trimmed their paws and gave them a bath which I greatly appreciated! I will def use her again, she really cares about dogs in her care and treats them like her own.

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. I work remotely from home 100% Monday to Fridays and I am usually home on weekends, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they deserve. I offer boarding at any time, and I already care for my own energetic 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, Cami. She’s spayed, service dog trained, and absolutely loves other dogs, she’s the perfect playmate! Caring for pets is already part of my everyday life, and I truly love it.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. At my home, pets get plenty of love, playtime, and attention. I provide a clean, cozy environment with space to play, rest, and relax. I stick to their feeding schedules, give them potty breaks, and ensure they get daily walks or outdoor time especially with my Aussie, Cami, who’s always ready for a buddy! If I’m caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to keep things consistent by following your instructions closely; from feeding and potty breaks to playtime, walks, and any medications. I always respect your space and treat your home with care.

A typical day
A typical day is structured but always tailored to your dog’s routine and energy level. Mornings start with a calm sniff walk and breakfast, followed by midday playtime and enrichment (like puzzle toys or slow feeders). In the afternoon and evening, we’ll do another walk or active play session, then wind down with dinner. I love keeping dogs both physically active and mentally engaged while making sure they feel safe, happy, and at home.
