Hi there, thank you for stopping by my page to consider me for your pet care needs! I am an animal lover of all kinds, and have always had dogs, cats, fish and other animals in my own home. I'm used to providing care for my current dog, which includes baths/grooming, daily walks and play sessions, eye drops, and hiding medications in peanut butter! I have plenty of experience in fostering dogs as well as litters of puppies until they were adopted by their forever families, so I am comfortable with big and small, young and old dogs! I am currently working from home with flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to dedicate my energy to your pup! My current home does not allow me to board dogs at this time. Whenever I am in a client’s home however, I always am sure to lock doors immediately behind me, to make sure your home and pets are always safe. I always review house rules and care tips before entering any home, so you can expect your home to be in the exact condition it was in when you left!
Ratings and reviews
Melissa was the best possible answer for our need to care for our 3 cats during our vacation! She did everything we asked and more. She clearly cares a lot and knows what she is doing. The kitties were all healthy and happy when we got home, and the photos we received while we were gone show that our shy cats warmed up to her right away. The house was all as we left it, if anything a little cleaner. I recommend her without hesitation to anyone who wants a kind person to care for their animal friends and to keep a responsible eye on things while they are away.
Melissa took such great care of our cat, Sprout. She was communicative and shared adorable pictures throughout our trip. I would definitely recommend Melissa and plan on having her hang out with Sprout whenever we are out of town.
I was traveling in another country and needed to find someone to help me out with my cats asap as my other sitter had to leave for a trip and Melissa accepted my request right away. Great communication, she sent detailed updates and photos of my cats and everything went well. I came back home to happy cats. Thank you so much Melissa. I will definitely book again.

Melissa is so awesome. She does drop-in visits with our cat when we are out of town, and she takes such good care of him. And he loves her! She always sends a full report each time she drops by, sending lots of photos and letting us know if anything seems off with him. She also spends time petting and playing with him. We really appreciate Melissa and enjoy working with her on a continuous basis.
